Leech Lake Riders Club Snowmobile Map
Snowmobiling in the Leech Lake Area provides excitement and fun to anyone who may try it. Riding through the deep snow in a peaceful surrounding of the calm forest cannot be beat, it's the closest you can get to nature in the wintertime. Combined with the Chippewa National Forest and the Paul Bunyan State Forest, the area provides over 350 miles of snowmobile trails. This allows access to over 1,300 lakes, scenic woodlands, and frozen wetlands.
Included in these trails is the Soo Line Trail that runs along the northeast area of Leech Lake and is said to be the longest motorized recreation trail in Minnesota. The Soo Line Trail is an old railroad grade that travels from Cass Lake all the way to Moose Lake. The Soo Line Trail is just one of the multitude of trails that are accessible for exploration by the avid snowmobiler. Join us at the Leech Lake Area and see what the sport of snowmobiling can do for you!
