Some of our Retail Store's have donated items and certificates for gift bag's for the Families, again thank you to all

of our very generous members that are always giving.

We have hosted over 200 military families and we can be proud.

MOONDANCE JAM

Thank you Bill & Kathy for having another Fantastic 4 day event. The Chamber phone never stopped ringing,

for place's to stay, eat, see & shop.

It  was a wonderful time had by all that participated and looking forward to Jam 17.

We realize how valuable this event is to the Leech Lake area and are already hearing about return visitor's.

Yike's Bike's

What a beautiful site seeing over 300 Biker's ride the route to help the Leech Lake Area Habitat for Humanity

raise funds to build yet another house in the Leech Lake Area.

The majority of  participate's visitor's to our area.

It would be wonderful next year to see more of our local face's riding in this event.

Thanks to all the Volunteers that helped and Sponsor's that help make this a success.

MS-TRAM

It was really a wonderful experience working with the MS-Tram Committee.  We had over 1500 visitor's come to

Walker, most there very first visit.

About 500 Camper's in the Park the Rest stayed at our Chamber member Hotel's and also a couple of Resorts.

What a gift to have 1000 people book rooms in our area that Sunday night.

Many area resturants had several of the MS-Tram group eat at there establishments and many visited our local shops.

Each visitor recieved a packet of information with our destination guide and other area information included.

During conversations with many of our visitors, they said they were pleasantly surprised at our wonderful bike

trails and such a beautiful place we have to offer. Return visits by many are expected.

Thank you to everyone that helped the Chamber of Commerce and Thanks to our Board of Director's for stepping to the plate and helping us sell Beer at our Beer Wagon.

We couldn't of did it without the many wonderful people in our Community and our Chamber of Commerce members.
